Treptower Klause

Amazing place with a heartwarming host and delicious food! They have a small saisonal and very creative menu with only the best ingredients prepared by the talented cook Jussuf. Everyone was able to find something to their taste. After some great starters we were treated with the most amazing dishes from fish to meat and even vegan options that were delicious. The wine we had matched the food perfectly and the host, Anne, made sure that we were happy and had everything we needed throughout the evening. I was able to reserve a table on very short notice. When we left I even received a call that I had forgotten my hat at the restaurant, so we were able to go back and retrieve it. What followed was an even more amazing evening with some nice drinks and talks about the differences between various German regions. We felt especially at home when we found out that the host comes from the same region as we do and we were able to compare the differences and similarities between Berlin and the Rheinland. Thank you so much Anne and Jussuf for this amazing evening, with great talks, awesome food and hospitality that is unmatched in Berlin!

Delicious food!! Homemade pasta with local mushrooms, pork & beef meatballs with celery & potato mash and a gravy that stops you in your tracks. Steak with ratatouille and an autumn risotto and of course vegetarian options. These are just some of the amazing dishes on the menu we encountered on our 2 weeks in Berlin at this gem of an establishment. This unassuming venue is charged by the warm and kind Anna while Youssaf mans the kitchen. A real family and personal touch make this place special as does the food and wine menu. It’s a mix of regulars and newcomers and is a must for us in Berlin. If you’re visiting from out of town and want a taste of real Berlin this venue is for you. Nothing but charm can be found within these walls and you won’t regret it.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. They change the menu often as needed so that the food is always fresh. The owner was so kind and friendly. Highly recommend, but suggest making a reservation as this is a small establishment.

Beautiful traditional food, personal service - a great eating experience. Weiner schnitzel with accompanying sides was 10/10 and that Apple cider is super.

The food was superb, the service was great. It's a very small restaurant, so you should better reserve a table in advance. I will definitely return to this place for my next Berlin visit!

We had an incredible Christmas Eve dinner here with a delicious salad and soup to start. The goose was absolutely amazing, I will be telling my friends and anyone I know visiting Berlin that they cannot miss Treptower Klause. We had to leave early because of jetlag, but an incredible, memorable meal that we will talk about for years to come.
